First off, thank you for choosing MagMod and trusting us with your gear! We truly appreciate your support. If you purchased a MagBounce 2 or a Professional Flash Kit between January and October 2024, it may be part of a recall due to a manufacturing issue.

We pride ourselves on the durability and quality of our gear, and we want to make things right. After all, we’re dedicated to providing you with reliable tools that help you create stunning images.  For a few answers to any questions, please read below!

What is the MagBounce 2 issue?

• We’ve identified a small problem with a specific batch of MagBounce 2s sold in 2024. It turns out that the silicone around the magnets in these units is thinner than it should be. This could potentially lead to the magnets tearing through the silicone, rendering the MagBounce unusable if the magnet breaks free.

How can I tell if my MagBounce 2 is a part of the recall?

• If your MagBounce was purchased any time between January 2024 and October 2024 it may have a defect.  Additionally, if you notice an issue with the magnets on your MagBounce 2 as referenced above, then it most was affected.

Will MagMod replace my MagBounce 2?

• Absolutely!  MagMod will send you a brand-new MagBounce 2 at no cost—super fast!
