Should I Get the MagGrid XL 20 and MagGrid XL 40?
The ability to focus is so important in life. And perhaps doubly so for us photographers. The MagGrid XL 20 and MagGrid XL 40 are great tools to achieve greater control of your light, to focus it and really put the it where it's needed, and nowhere that it isn't.
Bigger and even better
Everything that makes our MagGrid 2 so popular with the masses has been supersized to work with larger more powerful strobe lights. More light power means brighter and crisper focus with our MagGrid XL 20 and MagGrid XL 40.
Focus, focus, focus
A single MagGrid XL 40 produces a 40° focused beam angle from your flash. And because of MagMod’s modular design, you can alter your beam angle even more by stacking an additional MagGrid XL on top to produce a 20° beam angle.
The same can be done with your MagGrid XL 20, producing a 20° beam with one, or creating a 10° beam by utilizing two stacked on top of each other. Talk about focused!

Innovative, Modular Design
The MagGrid XL 20 and XL 40 are designed to work with as many of your MagMod setups as possible. Use it with the Reflector XL. Or mount it to your MagRing 2 for use with a pair of speedlights which is a popular option for wedding photographers who work with a 2nd shooter, as it allows you to mount 2 speedlite flashes to the same lighting angle but each photographer can use their own flash independently.
