Collapses like no other reflector out there
Traditional reflectors are made of metal so they can't get any smaller. That means they take up space, are awkward to transport, and can be easily damaged trying to cram them into a stuffed gear bag. And we all want to save space in our gear bag. Or better yet, be able to carry a smaller gear bag. The Reflector XL's collapsible design means it can save space by doing this...
And the benefits of its collapsibility aren't just limited to just saving space. It ALSO means that you've got two unique light patterns for the price of one reflector. Use the Reflector XL in its collapsed state for a wider beam spread, and then pop it open fully for a more focused light. Your old metal reflector can't do THAT!
Removable adapter base fits any monolight with a Bowens, Godox, or Profoto mount
The removable swappable base of the Reflector XL means that it's upgradable if you decide you want to invest in a new monolight. It's easy to swap out the Bowens mount it comes with for an available Profoto or Godox mount now or in the future, so you won't have to buy a new Reflector XL when you take the plunge to upgrade your lighting game.
Easily modifiable
With traditional reflectors you'd only have the ability to add maybe 1 grid, and adding a color gel means cutting up and taping sheets of color film onto the reflector in some fashion. What a pain! With the Reflector XL the magnetic collar gives you the ability to quickly and easily attach multiple light-shaping MagMod modifiers for tons of options to control your light. Try stacking 2 MagGrid XL's, or using both a MagGrid XL and a MagSphere XL to really control the light just the way you want. Or add a MagMod Dome Gel to the mix by popping it into the built-in internal groove to further expand your lighting possibilities.

Made from SUPER durable materials
MagMod XL Reflector is made from durable high-quality silicone which means it can withstand a beating when in the studio or out on location.
Our reflective inner material is specially treated with a beautiful and also durable metallic flake to deliver incredible light output while retaining all of the amazing durability and collapsibility benefits of silicone. That's having your cake and eating it too!
And the embedded magnetic hardened steel ring is significantly more durable than what other metal-body reflectors are made of. So while the competition can easily be deformed or permanently damaged from normal use (like falling or dropping, or getting squished by other camera gear), the Reflector XL bounces back from abuse like a UFC champ.
Designed for gelling
We designed the Reflector XL specifically with gelling in mind. Not only that, we've even designed it for multiple gels in mind. So you can create the exact color correction or color effect you want with up to 3 stacked Dome Gels all snugly held in place until you pop them out.
